High Performance 8-Week Program: May & June 2019 - Mondays or Wednesdays - 4:00pm-5:30pm

This program is intended for athletes with some club basketball experience who are serious about building their game. We will work at a higher intensity level and look for more specificity in performing skills.

Camp Director and McMaster Women's Basketball Coach Theresa Burns has extremely high expectations of herself, her coaches, and most importantly, the student-athletes that attend her spring program. Players that come with a genuine desire to improve will be pushed while also supported to achieve their goals.

The Marauder HP Difference

Low coach-player ratios are no longer a selling point - all well respected camps deliver on that promise. As you shift your focus to becoming the best, the total number of participating players becomes critical. Lower total numbers mean less lines, significantly less time spent waiting for baskets, and most importantly, more touches on the ball.

Our Marauder HP program offers a more personalized, demanding and high-calibre approach, aligned with Canada Basketball and applying Sport Canada's Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD) model. This 8-week training program is designed for individual develop, allowing every player to develop their skills. Players will be challenged to improve in a concentrated and supportive training environment. Training one night a week, players will be taught some focussed skills in each session. They will participate in an 1.5 hour intense practice, building on each previous session.

Homework at HP Basketball

Self-discipline is a huge component of athletic success. Athletes will be given drills and programs to use for their own self-training outside of our HP program.
